Terms of Service
Effective date: June 16, 2026
Welcome to ohhell.app. By using this site, you agree to these terms. They're short β please read them.
The Service
ohhell.app is a free, browser-based implementation of the card game Oh Hell. No account is required to play. The service is provided as-is, for entertainment purposes.
Your Conduct
- Play fair. Don't use automated tools to play games or manipulate outcomes.
- Be decent. The chat feature (in private games) is not a place for harassment, hate speech, or abuse.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, exploit, or attack the service or its infrastructure.
No Accounts (for now)
Currently, ohhell.app does not require registration. You play under a display name and a random player ID stored in your browser. Completed games, your rating, and the display name you played under are saved on our server and may appear on the public leaderboard and profile pages β see the Privacy Policy for details. We don't ask you for personally identifiable information such as your real name or email address. Standard server logs and our infrastructure provider may still process technical data such as IP addresses β see the Privacy Policy for details.
Service Availability
We aim to keep the site available but make no guarantees. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. In-progress games may be lost if the server restarts.
Intellectual Property
The Oh Hell card game is in the public domain. The ohhell.app software, design, and content are owned by the developers. Don't copy or redistribute them without permission.
Limitation of Liability
ohhell.app is provided without warranty. We're not liable for any losses, damages, or disappointments arising from your use of the service β including losing a game you should have won.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
